Sheboygan Toastmasters Open House to Feature Toast…and More!
Sheboygan, WI – March 17, 2024 — The Sheboygan Toastmasters Club, one of the most prestigious Toastmasters clubs in the area, will host an open house on March 31, 2025, at 6:15 pm. All adults over the age of 18 are invited to attend. The event, called Toast with Toastmasters, will be held at the Bethany Reformed Church, 1315 Washington Avenue, Sheboygan, Wisconsin.
“This event is an easy way for non-members to learn more about the Toastmasters program and see firsthand how club members meet and the benefits they receive,” said Sheboygan Club President Kris Pool. “We have a lot of fun together as we’re helping each other develop important leadership and public speaking skills. At this meeting, we’ll provide toast, toppings and other snacks, and drinks just to make it fun with plenty of time for networking and socializing beginning at 5:30 pm. We hope guests will join us.”
The Sheboygan Toastmasters Club, a renowned organization committed to personal and professional development, provides a supportive platform for individuals to enhance their public speaking, communication, and leadership skills. With a strong emphasis on professional and personal growth and empowerment, the club offers an exceptional environment for individuals to unlock their full potential.
The Sheboygan Toastmasters Club meetings are held regularly on the 1st and 3rd Mondays each month (excluding holidays), ensuring members have ample opportunities to practice and refine their speaking skills in a supportive and encouraging atmosphere. During these engaging sessions, participants take part in prepared speeches, impromptu speaking exercises, and constructive evaluations, all of which contribute to their growth as effective communicators and leaders.
“The benefits of joining a Toastmasters Club go far beyond just becoming a better public speaker. Members gain enhanced communication skills, build leadership abilities, and expand their networking opportunities,” Pool said. “Joining the club provides access to a supportive community where members uplift and inspire one another, fostering personal growth and professional success. Each member chooses a focused education path which means the learning is focused on what each person needs for their own development.”
Doors at the church will open at 5:30 pm, and the meeting begins at 6:15 pm. The meeting will run for about an hour. Afterwards, there will be time for snacks and networking.
