Sheboygan County Health Data Walk Set for Oct. 7 at Jake’s
Sheboygan County, WI — September 13, 2026 — Sheboygan County residents will have an opportunity to review local health information and help shape future priorities during a Data Walk Open House on Wednesday, October 7, at Jake’s in Sheboygan.
Healthy Sheboygan County will host the come-and-go event from 2 to 6 p.m. at 529 Ontario Ave. Attendees may stop in at any point during the four-hour window to review findings from the 2026 Community Health Needs Assessment and provide feedback about the issues that matter most in their communities.
A chance to review local health information
The Data Walk is designed to make the assessment information available in a public, easy-to-review format. Participants can examine the data, share their observations and comment on local health priorities.
Feedback from the event will help guide Sheboygan County health priorities and improvement planning for the next three years. The event gives residents, people who work in the county and local organizations an opportunity to contribute to that planning process.
How the assessment was conducted
The 2026 Community Health Needs Assessment combines several types of information. Healthy Sheboygan County said the process included a community input survey, key informant interviews, focus groups and secondary data collection.
The county-specific survey asked about healthcare access and other community needs. Participation was open to people who live or work in Sheboygan County, with data collection taking place from January through April 2026.
What to know before attending
The Data Walk Open House will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, October 7, at Jake’s, 529 Ontario Ave., Sheboygan. The event is come-and-go, so attendees can visit during the afternoon without staying for the full event.
Snacks will be available, and attendees may enter a gift-card drawing. The event offers a practical way to see the information being used in county health planning and share feedback on priorities for the next three years.
