Monday, June 29: Extreme Heat Warning starts at noon for Sheboygan County
Sheboygan County is under an Extreme Heat Warning from noon Monday, June 29, 2026, through 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 30, 2026, according to NWS Milwaukee/Sullivan.
The county forecast calls for heat index values of 102 to 107. Lakeshore areas may be a few degrees cooler, but conditions just inland from Lake Michigan will still be dangerous.
Residents should limit strenuous outdoor work and activities during the hottest part of the day, drink plenty of fluids, and stay in air conditioning if possible. Wear lightweight clothing, take frequent breaks, and check on older adults, young children, and neighbors or relatives who may not have reliable cooling.
Never leave children or pets in parked vehicles. The warning remains in effect through Tuesday evening.
