Cedar Grove Labor Day Garbage Pickup Moves to Saturday, September 12
Cedar Grove, WI — September 4, 2026.
Garbage and recycling collection in the Village of Cedar Grove will move to Saturday, September 12, because of the Labor Day holiday.
The adjusted schedule applies to Cedar Grove residents whose regular collection service is affected by the holiday. Carts should be placed at the curb by 7:00 a.m. on collection day.
Cart placement reminders
The village asks residents to place carts within 18 inches of the curb, with the arrows facing the street or curb. Carts should be at least 3 feet away from mailboxes, lampposts and other carts so collection equipment can reach them.
Only Waste Management carts will be emptied under the village’s listed collection rules.
Large-item drop-off planned for September 19
Cedar Grove also lists a large-item drop-off for Saturday, September 19, from 8:00 a.m. to noon. The drop-off site is at 22 E. Willow Ave., east of the village office in Cedar Grove.
The large-item service is limited to Village of Cedar Grove residents, and identification may be requested. Residents should review the village’s current Garbage & Recycling page for accepted materials and any listed fees for certain electronics or appliances before bringing items to the site.
Planning ahead for the adjusted pickup date can help residents avoid leaving carts out on the regular Labor Day schedule. The village’s collection page remains the best place to confirm item rules and service details.
