Tuesday, July 7, 2026: Mead Public Library teen and family programs
Families and teens in Sheboygan have a fun indoor Tuesday planned at Mead Public Library, 710 N. 8th Street. On Tuesday, July 7, 2026, the library has Dinosaur Dimension Show performances plus hands-on maker and teen craft options.
Dinosaur Dimension Show (two times)
The show is in the Rocca Meeting Room with performances from 10:00am–11:00am and 1:00pm–2:00pm. For each show, tickets will be available at the 3rd-floor desk 30 minutes before the performance—so plan to arrive a bit early.
Guided Maker Time — 1:00pm–3:00pm (Imaginarium)
From 1:00pm to 3:00pm, adults and teens age 11+ can stop by Guided Maker Time in the Imaginarium. Participants can learn about the makerspace and the equipment badging process, or work on a project of their own with a staff member or volunteer available to help.
The library notes that appointments for equipment badging and assistance may also be made in advance and will be prioritized over drop-ins.
Craft a Cap for Teens — 2:00pm–4:00pm (Maas Teen Learning Center)
Teens can also enjoy a drop-in craft from 2:00pm to 4:00pm in the Maas Teen Learning Center. Craft a Cap for Teens is designed for teens to personalize a baseball cap with patches, buttons, and other embellishments, and there will be button making they can attach to a hat, backpack, or other items.
Weather quick-hit for the drive downtown
The National Weather Service forecast for Sheboygan County calls for sunny conditions with highs in the mid-80s today—an easy day to combine errands and library time before the afternoon.
With two dinosaur show start times, it’s simple to build a visit around lunch—then transition to the Imaginarium or the Teen Learning Center afterward. For any last-minute changes, check the Mead Public Library event calendar.
