Plein Air Workshop
Sheboygan, WI – Get ready for summer painting season with an evening focused on the fundamentals of plein air painting before the upcoming Art in the Garden event on August 1. This hands-on outdoor workshop will cover selecting strong compositions from life using a viewfinder, simplifying details, compressing values, and completing a painting on-site using an alla prima technique. Participants are welcome to work in any painting medium. Sheboygan Visual Artists Rob Burkhard will demonstrate with oils, while Tracy Bezesky will be working with Golden Open acrylics. Artists of all experience levels are encouraged to attend.

Cost: $30Maximum 10 participants. All levels welcome.
What to Bring:
Any painting medium may be used. Participants are encouraged to bring their own paints, brushes, and easels, but supplies can be provided if needed.
Materials Provided:
Canvas panels in 9×12 or 11×14 sizes will be provided.
