Mead Library Food Drive Accepts Donations Through Nov. 20
Sheboygan residents can bring non-expired, non-perishable food to Mead Public Library through Friday, Nov. 20, for a drive benefiting the Sheboygan County Food Bank. The library’s event listing says the drive began Nov. 2.
Where to leave donations
The collection box is on the library’s first floor, between the Circulation Desk and New Books. Mead Public Library is at 710 N. 8th Street in Sheboygan.
For donation ideas, the Food Bank lists canned soup, canned tuna or chicken, canned fruit, pasta, pasta sauce and personal care items among its most-needed items. These are suggestions; food donations should be non-expired and non-perishable.
Check library hours before visiting
The event listing gives Nov. 2 at 9 a.m. as the drive’s start and Nov. 20 at 5 p.m. as its end. Those are the event’s start and end times, not a daily collection schedule. Check Mead’s operating hours before making a trip.
