Sheboygan, WI — September 30, 2026

A Small Craft Advisory covers Lake Michigan nearshore waters from Sheboygan to Port Washington from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. CDT Wednesday, Sept. 30. The National Weather Service Milwaukee/Sullivan updated the advisory at 9:05 a.m. CDT. Read the NWS Small Craft Advisory.

For marine zone LMZ643, NWS forecasts south to southwest winds of 15 to 20 knots, gusts up to 25 knots and waves building to 3 to 5 feet. The agency says conditions will be hazardous to small craft and advises inexperienced mariners—particularly those operating smaller vessels—to avoid navigating in hazardous conditions.

The advisory applies to the specified nearshore waters, not inland Sheboygan County. The NWS Sheboygan County Forecast covers a separate land area.
