Sheboygan, WI Gas & Diesel Watch: Diesel Crosses $6 as Regular Gas Holds Above $4
Sheboygan, Wisconsin — September 14, 2026
Diesel has crossed $6 per gallon in the Sheboygan metro while regular gasoline remains above $4, according to AAA’s Wisconsin fuel-price table priced as of September 14, 2026. The two fuel types are moving differently: regular gas is nearly flat from the previous day, while diesel climbed sharply.
What changed at the pump
AAA lists the Sheboygan metro average at $4.0512 per gallon for regular gasoline and $6.0159 for diesel. These are metro benchmarks, not guarantees for every station in Sheboygan County.
Regular gas is down about 0.1 cent from AAA’s September 13 average of $4.0526. Even with that nearly flat daily move, regular gasoline is up about 27.7 cents from one week ago and 15.3 cents from one month ago.
Diesel is up about 7 cents from September 13, when AAA listed the Sheboygan metro average at $5.9461. It is up about 24.4 cents from one week ago and about 77.8 cents from one month ago.
Diesel crosses the $6 threshold
The diesel increase is the sharper local change. Contractors, farmers, delivery fleets and service businesses with work vehicles may want to watch fuel use more closely as the higher benchmark works through operating costs.
Restaurants that depend on regular deliveries and businesses preparing for local events may also feel more pressure from fuel-intensive routes. That does not mean local menu prices, delivery fees or event costs will change immediately. It does mean operators and visitors planning longer trips have more reason to compare stations before filling up.
Regular gas stays above $4
For commuters, school-run households, weekend travelers and families making several errands around Sheboygan County, regular gas remains a meaningful household cost. The metro average is about 2.8 cents higher than the previous Sheboygan Life fuel-price check on September 11, when regular gas was listed at $4.0236.
Diesel is about 15.5 cents higher than that previous check, which listed diesel at $5.8609.
Wisconsin and national context
AAA’s Wisconsin average on September 14 was $4.0929 for regular gasoline and $6.0550 for diesel. The national regular-gas average was $4.3163. Those figures provide broader context but are not Sheboygan pump prices.
What local drivers should watch
Drivers planning longer trips, contractors scheduling jobs, farmers moving equipment and businesses managing delivery routes should compare local pump prices before filling up. A few cents per gallon can add up across repeated trips or larger tanks, and individual stations may be higher or lower than the metro average.
