Plymouth, WI — September 2, 2026. The Sheboygan County Fair remains scheduled for Thursday, September 3, through Monday, September 7, at the fairgrounds, but the latest National Weather Service forecast points to the greatest rain and storm chances arriving Thursday night into Friday.
The fairgrounds are located at 229 Fairview Drive in Plymouth, Wisconsin. Fairgoers planning to attend opening-day activities should allow some flexibility for outdoor plans and changing conditions.
Thursday Night, September 3, Into Friday, September 4, May Be the Wettest Fair Period
The NWS point forecast for Sheboygan shows a 90% chance of precipitation Thursday night, September 3, with showers and possibly a thunderstorm after midnight. The forecast also indicates that one-quarter to one-half inch of rain could fall during that period.
For Friday, September 4, the forecast carries a 40% chance of showers and thunderstorms, including a chance before 1 p.m. and additional slight chances later. Friday temperatures are expected to reach about 82 degrees.
The NWS Milwaukee/Sullivan Hazardous Weather Outlook issued at 11:45 a.m. CDT Wednesday, September 2, includes Sheboygan County and says heat indices may remain in the low to mid-90s through late week, with additional scattered storms possible.
