Tuesday, August 11: Sheboygan County Voters Go to the Polls for Partisan Primary
Sheboygan County, WI — August 10, 2026. Sheboygan County voters will participate in Wisconsin’s partisan primary on Tuesday, August 11, 2026. Polling places will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Before leaving home, voters should confirm their assigned polling place and ballot information through MyVote Wisconsin. Polling locations depend on the voter’s residential address.
Election Day voting checklist
- Confirm your polling place and ballot information through MyVote Wisconsin.
- Bring an acceptable Wisconsin photo ID, such as a Wisconsin driver license or state identification card, U.S. passport, or military ID. This is not a complete list of acceptable identification.
- If you need to register at the polls, bring proof of residence showing your current address.
- Allow enough time to vote before polls close at 8 p.m.
Registration and photo ID
Voters who are not registered, or who need to update their registration after moving, may register at their polling place during the 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Election Day voting period. Wisconsin requires proof of residence for Election Day registration.
Wisconsin also requires voters to present an acceptable photo ID when voting. Voters with questions about registration status, identification, or polling locations should check the official state election information and Sheboygan County Clerk election resources before heading out.
Absentee ballots must arrive by 8 p.m.
Completed absentee ballots must be received by the voter’s municipal clerk no later than 8 p.m. Tuesday, August 11. A postmark by the deadline is not enough if the ballot does not arrive on time. Voters outside the City of Sheboygan should confirm ballot-return instructions with their own municipal clerk.
City of Sheboygan absentee-ballot options
For City of Sheboygan voters, the City of Sheboygan voter-information page lists several Election Day return options:
- City Clerk’s Office: 828 Center Avenue. The office accepts absentee ballots until noon Tuesday, August 11.
- Mead Public Library official drop box: 710 N. 8th Street. The official drop box accepts ballots until noon Tuesday, August 11.
- Polling-place delivery: City voters may return a completed absentee ballot to their assigned polling place from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, August 11.
- Curbside voting: Voters who need curbside assistance may call 920-459-3361.
Before Election Day, check your assigned polling location, bring the required identification, and plan ahead if you need to register or deliver an absentee ballot. City of Sheboygan return options do not apply automatically to voters in other Sheboygan County municipalities.
