Beginner Hand-Quilting Workshop Coming to Sheboygan
Anyone curious about quilting can learn the basics while creating a quilt block of their own during an Intro to a Hand-Quilt Square workshop at the SVA Gallery in Sheboygan on Saturday, September 26.
Instructor Anne Berger will lead the beginner-friendly, hands-on class from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the SVA Gallery, 534 South Pier Drive.
Learn Hand Quilting from Piecing to Binding
The workshop is designed for people who have never quilted before as well as those looking for a new creative hobby.
Participants will create one medium-sized quilt block while learning the basic steps involved in hand quilting, including piecing and binding. No previous quilting or sewing experience is necessary.
All materials needed for the project will be provided as part of the workshop. Participants only need to bring a lunch and beverage for the four-hour class.
