The National Weather Service Milwaukee/Sullivan issued a Dense Fog Advisory Saturday at 1:23 p.m. CDT for the nearshore waters from Sheboygan to Winthrop Harbor. The advisory runs through Sunday, July 5, at 10:00 a.m. CDT.

Visibility may drop to one-half nautical mile or less at times. The hazardous weather outlook also says dense fog is expected through mid-Sunday morning, so boaters and shoreline travelers should use extra caution on Lake Michigan through the holiday weekend.

Check for updates before heading out, especially if you are planning an early Sunday trip on or near the water.
