Father’s Day Weekend at Wade House
Wagon rides, farm animals and hands-on history will fill two days at the Greenbush historic site.
GREENBUSH, WI — Families can celebrate Father’s Day with animals, wagon rides and Wisconsin history at Wade House Historic Site on Saturday, June 20, and Sunday, June 21.
The site will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. both days. Horse-drawn wagons will carry visitors to the historic stagecoach inn, where they can see Morgan horses, chickens and sheep and meet interpreters working as a blacksmith, gardener and cook.
Bulitz’s Petting Zoo will be available from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day with goats, pigs and bunnies. Families can also explore the water-powered sawmill, play yard games and complete a photo scavenger hunt for a gift shop prize. Food and drinks will be available for purchase.
General admission is $15 for adults and teens, $13 for seniors, $8 for children ages 5–12 and free for children under 5. Wisconsin Historical Society members receive free general admission.
