Sheboygan’s Memorial Day parade starts downtown Monday

Sheboygan, WI — Monday, May 25, 2026

Sheboygan’s Memorial Day parade is underway downtown Monday, with the City of Sheboygan calendar listing the observance from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Fountain Park, 1010 N. 8th St.

Route and ceremony details

Lakeland University’s event page says the parade starts at 7th Street and Center Avenue, heads north on 7th Street to Michigan Avenue, turns west to 9th Street, and ends at Fountain Park. A ceremony follows immediately after the parade, with tributes to veterans and active-duty service members.

Why it matters downtown

For residents, families, and anyone heading through central Sheboygan this morning, the route means it is a good time to build in a little extra travel time near the parade corridor. The event also gives the community a public way to honor service members while keeping a local Memorial Day tradition going in the city.

City and event organizers say the parade is sponsored by Kohler Credit Union and presented with support from local veterans, the city, the county veterans service office, and Launch: Lakeland Student-Run Businesses.
