Elkhart Lake office closes May 22 and May 25 for Memorial Day, pickup moves to May 26

Elkhart Lake, WI — Friday, May 22, 2026.

The Village of Elkhart Lake in Sheboygan County says the village office will be closed Friday, May 22, and Monday, May 25, for Memorial Day.

The village’s garbage and recycling schedule page says Memorial Day pickup moves to Tuesday, May 26, 2026. If you normally set carts out on Monday, plan on Tuesday instead.

This gives residents a simple reminder to handle village office errands before the holiday closure and to set curbside items out on the revised pickup day.
