Kingsbury Brewery History Night at 3 Sheeps Brewing Celebrates Local Legacy
Beer lovers and history buffs alike will want to be at 3 Sheeps Brewing Co. Taproom (1837 North Avenue, Sheboygan) on Tuesday, September 23, from 6:30 to 7:30 PM for a special Kingsbury Brewery History Night.
The evening will be led by Bret Blizzard, a Kingsbury historian who has collected stories, memorabilia, and photos from the brewery’s storied past. Once one of Sheboygan’s most iconic brands, the Kingsbury Brewery was a source of local pride and a part of everyday life for generations of residents.
Guests will get a chance to see rare pieces of brewery history while learning about Kingsbury’s rise, its impact on the community, and its lasting legacy in Sheboygan. The presentation will mix storytelling with visuals, making it engaging for both longtime locals and newcomers curious about the county’s brewing heritage.
To honor Kingsbury’s legacy, 3 Sheeps Brewing will be serving “Stay Golden,” their cream ale brewed as a nod to Kingsbury’s classic style. It’s a chance to sip a modern take on a local tradition while hearing the stories behind the original.
The event is free to attend and open to all ages, though you must be 21+ to purchase beer. Seating in the taproom is first-come, first-served, so arriving early is recommended.
For anyone interested in Sheboygan’s rich history—or just looking for an enjoyable evening out with a pint in hand—Kingsbury Brewery History Night at 3 Sheeps Brewing promises to be both entertaining and educational.
