Tales of Firsts! Storytelling Event at Generations Brings the Community Together
Stories have a way of connecting people, and this week, Generations Intergenerational Center in Plymouth is inviting the community to share theirs. On Thursday, September 18, from 5:30 to 6:30 PM, Generations will host “Tales of Firsts!”, an evening of storytelling centered on memorable fair experiences.
From first Ferris wheel rides to funny food mishaps, county and state fair stories often leave lasting impressions. This casual event encourages attendees to step up and share their personal memories—or simply sit back and enjoy listening to others. It’s an open, welcoming environment that celebrates Sheboygan County’s shared history and traditions.
The evening is free to attend, and to make it even better, pizza will be provided for all participants. Families are welcome, and children can enjoy hearing about the joys and quirks of local fairs through the eyes of their neighbors.
Events like “Tales of Firsts!” highlight what makes Sheboygan County special: a sense of community built on shared stories, laughter, and local traditions. Whether you bring a tale of your own or just come for the pizza and camaraderie, you’ll leave with a deeper connection to your neighbors.
