City of Sheboygan Announces ‘Ride with Ryan’ Bike Tour to Kickstart Comprehensive Plan Development
The City of Sheboygan is excited to announce “Ride with Ryan,” a community bike tour led by Mayor Ryan Sorenson on September 14, 2024, at 1:00 PM, starting from City Hall. Facilitated by Sheboygan Active Transportation, the event aims to engage residents in shaping the city’s future as part of the upcoming Comprehensive Plan development process.
The 7-mile casual ride will take participants through various neighborhoods, showcasing Sheboygan’s current infrastructure while discussing plans and possibilities for the next 20 years. Mayor Sorenson will lead discussions at several stops along the route, encouraging community input on the city’s vision.
“This bike tour is an innovative way to involve our residents in the planning process,” said Mayor Ryan Sorenson. “By experiencing our city on two wheels, we can better understand the challenges and opportunities for improving our transportation infrastructure and overall community development.”
