Join Sheboygan County’s BIT Program and Boost Your Business’s Growth!
The Sheboygan County Economic Development Corporation (SCEDC) is excited to announce a new partnership with the Center for Business Intelligence at the Institute for Business and Entrepreneurship within the University of Wisconsin System. This partnership has resulted in the creation of the Sheboygan County Business Intelligence Team (BIT) Program, which is a unique opportunity for “second stage” growth-oriented companies in the Sheboygan County area to receive consulting, training, and research at little or no cost through a program called revBOOST.
This program is the first of its kind in the Midwest and is made possible thanks to a grant from Associated Bank, which will cover a portion of the fees and expenses for participating companies. Each year, the SCEDC will offer economic grants to three companies to complete the BIT Program revBOOST. Applications are currently being accepted for this highly acclaimed program.
To be eligible for revBOOST, companies must meet the following criteria:
- Be a for-profit, privately held company that has been headquartered in the Sheboygan County area for at least the past two years.
- Generate annual revenue between $500,000 and $50 million.
- Employ between 4 and 99 full-time employees.
- Demonstrate growth in employment and/or revenue during two of the past five years.
- Provide products or services beyond the local area, such as to regional, national, or international markets.
- Be referred by a participating network organization.
Supporting the growth of local businesses has a positive impact on the economy of Sheboygan County. According to a recent study, every $1 spent on the BIT Program has the potential to generate $23 in additional economic activity within the county. By providing access to valuable resources and expertise, the BIT Program helps businesses grow and succeed, which ultimately benefits the entire community.
