Mutual aid response in Sheboygan County: WBAY reports that more than a dozen fire departments responded to a house fire on Mulberry Drive in the Village of Waldo on Thursday, Feb. 19, 2026. The report lists Kohler Fire Department among the assisting agencies. WBAY also reported that no one was inside the home, and the cause remained under investigation at the time of the report.

Sheboygan County committee vacancy: WHBL reports that Sheboygan County is seeking a registered nurse or physician to serve on the Health & Human Services Committee for a three-year term, with eligibility tied to Sheboygan County residency and voter status.
