Garden Club Keeps Downtown Blooming Through A Labor of Love

For more than 60 years, the dedicated members of the Town and Country Garden Club have worked in partnership with the City of Sheboygan to bring color and charm to our downtown streets of Sheboygan. Each spring, these volunteers roll up their sleeves to plant and maintain a stunning array of flowers in 69 concrete pots throughout downtown Sheboygan and Blue Harbor area. Volunteers like Ann Roberts and Pat Schutt, seen here carefully arranging bright blooms in one of many pots, are just a few of the passionate individuals who give their time and energy to ensure our city looks its very best.
Their work is more than gardening—it’s a labor of love. These women, along with their fellow members, bring beauty to the community one pot at a time, rain or shine. Their commitment and sacrifice do not go unnoticed, as their efforts help create an inviting atmosphere for residents, visitors, and local businesses alike. Sheboygan is a more welcoming and vibrant place thanks to the Town and Country Garden Club, whose green thumbs and generous hearts continue to inspire.
