State and national comparisons
AAA’s Nov. 6 Wisconsin averages were $4.0441 for regular and $6.2289 for diesel. Those statewide figures are separate from the Sheboygan metro averages.
The U.S. Energy Information Administration’s weekly report, released Nov. 3, lists national averages for the week of Nov. 2 at $4.153 for regular and $6.292 for diesel. These are national weekly benchmarks, not same-day Sheboygan prices.
What local drivers should watch
The lower regular-gas average may ease household driving and school-run budgets. Diesel remains a substantial fuel expense to watch for contractors, delivery operators, farmers, restaurants and other local businesses that rely on diesel-powered vehicles or equipment. The averages show pump-price movement; they do not establish whether or when businesses might adjust their own prices.
