Sheboygan Gas and Diesel Prices Ease Since Oct. 5; Diesel Still Tops $6
Sheboygan, WI | October 9, 2026
Regular gas and diesel averages in the Sheboygan metro have both eased since Sheboygan Life’s October 5 check. The latest AAA price check, dated October 9, lists regular at $4.1186 per gallon and diesel at $6.3267. Diesel remains above $6.
What changed at the pump
Regular gas is down 6.88 cents from $4.1874 on October 5 and 12.89 cents from AAA’s week-ago average of $4.2475. Diesel is down 5.91 cents from $6.3858 on October 5 and 9.82 cents from its week-ago average of $6.4249.
Both averages remain above their month- and year-ago comparisons. AAA lists regular at $3.9796 a month ago and $2.7057 a year ago; diesel was $5.8113 and $3.3942, respectively.
Metro averages, not individual pump quotes
These are Sheboygan metro averages, not guaranteed prices at every station in Sheboygan County. Individual pump prices can differ.
The lower averages may offer some relief for household driving, commutes and school runs. Diesel above $6 remains a notable fuel expense to watch for contractors, delivery drivers, farmers, restaurants and other businesses that use vehicles. In national context, the U.S. Energy Information Administration’s October 6 outlook forecast that U.S. retail diesel would remain above $6 per gallon in October; that forecast does not predict prices at Sheboygan-area stations.
