Sheboygan Gas and Diesel Prices Ease Again; Diesel Averages $6.39
Sheboygan metro fuel averages eased again in AAA’s October 5 price snapshot. Regular gasoline averaged $4.1874 per gallon, down 6.01 cents from the October 2 Sheboygan Life fuel-price check. Diesel averaged $6.3858, down 3.91 cents.
What changed at the pump
Both fuels were also below AAA’s week-ago Sheboygan averages. Regular was down 16.31 cents from $4.3505, while diesel fell 9.71 cents from $6.4829.
The longer comparison remains higher. AAA lists month-ago averages of $3.7850 for regular and $5.6984 for diesel. Its year-ago figures were $2.7227 and $3.3828, respectively. So although prices have eased from recent checks, both current metro averages remain above their month- and year-ago benchmarks.
What local drivers should watch
These averages can help Sheboygan County commuters and families plan fuel spending for regular drives and school runs. Diesel remains a substantial per-gallon cost to consider when budgeting for work involving contractors’ vehicles, deliveries, farm equipment, restaurant supply runs and other business travel. The averages are broad benchmarks—not quotes for any individual station—so check pump signs for the price where you plan to fill up.
AAA’s Wisconsin fuel-price page lists the Sheboygan figures as prices as of October 5, 2026; an exact update time was not verified.
