Localized dense fog could reduce visibility to one-quarter mile in pockets of Sheboygan County on Sunday morning, September 27. The National Weather Service Milwaukee/Sullivan issued a Special Weather Statement at 5:47 a.m. CDT and said fog should dissipate by the 10 a.m. hour.

The statement names Plymouth, Sheboygan Falls, Howards Grove and Oostburg among the affected communities. The NWS advises drivers to slow down and allow extra travel time. Conditions may vary from one location to another.

At 6:53 a.m. CDT, the NWS reported fog and mist with five-mile visibility at Sheboygan County Memorial Airport. That is a time-specific airport observation, not a measure of visibility on roads across the county.

Check the current NWS statement before leaving. The stated 10 a.m. timing is the expected fog dissipation window.
