Sheboygan County, WI — September 19, 2026. A Flood Watch remains in effect for Sheboygan County through 1 p.m. CDT Saturday, September 19, as additional showers and thunderstorms may bring heavy rainfall and localized flooding.
The National Weather Service Milwaukee/Sullivan office issued and maintained the Flood Watch at 3:56 a.m. CDT Saturday. NWS said rain and storms could continue through the morning, with another inch or so possible. Another round of showers and storms with heavy-rain potential may develop from late morning into the afternoon.

What Sheboygan County residents should watch
Runoff may cause flooding in rivers, creeks, streams and other low-lying or flood-prone locations. Urban and poor-drainage areas may see ponding, and storm drains or ditches may not handle the additional water.
The National Weather Service Sheboygan County forecast, updated at 4:30 a.m. CDT, called for rain showers and thunderstorms with possible heavy rainfall during the morning and afternoon. The NWS Milwaukee/Sullivan forecast discussion, updated at 5:58 a.m., said lingering rain could continue into midmorning, followed by another possible round around midday or early afternoon.
Travel and outdoor plans
Drivers should allow extra time for wet roads, watch for standing water and never drive through a flooded roadway. Residents in flood-prone locations should monitor NWS updates and be prepared to act if a Flood Warning is issued.
Outdoor plans may also be affected by additional rain and thunderstorms through the afternoon. Check conditions before leaving and avoid low-lying areas where water is collecting.
