WIS 28/WIS 32 Roundabout to Close in Sheboygan Falls and Town of Lima September 21
Sheboygan Falls, WI — September 18, 2026
The WIS 28/WIS 32 roundabout in the City of Sheboygan Falls and Town of Lima will close beginning Monday, September 21, 2026, while Wisconsin Department of Transportation crews complete roadway repairs and paving.
WisDOT expects the full closure to last about 10 working days. The work includes replacing sections of curb, gutter and the truck apron, along with paving operations at the roundabout in Sheboygan County.
Separate detours planned for WIS 28 and WIS 32
Drivers should follow the signed detour for the highway they are using:
- WIS 28 traffic: Use WIS 57, County V and I-43.
- WIS 32 traffic: Use WIS 23, I-43 and County V.
Because the routes are separate, commuters, commercial drivers and other travelers should check signs carefully before reaching the closure. Farm vehicles, school traffic, families traveling between communities and weekend travelers may need extra time to reach their destinations.
More delays expected along WIS 28
WisDOT also says flagging and intermittent delays will continue on WIS 28 between County A and WIS 57. Drivers should expect alternating traffic in work areas and watch for changing traffic control.
Allow additional travel time, follow flagger instructions and use caution around the work zone. The 10-working-day schedule is an estimate and may change as construction progresses.
