Art on Wheels Vintage Weekend Brings Nearly 300 Cars to Road America September 18–20
Town of Plymouth, WI — September 16, 2026.
Road America will host Art on Wheels Vintage Weekend featuring the Vintage Sports Car Drivers Association from Friday, September 18, through Sunday, September 20. The event is expected to bring nearly 300 vintage and historic race cars to the Town of Plymouth in Sheboygan County.
The event will take place at Road America, N7390 State Highway 67. For local families, motorsports fans, and visitors, the weekend offers more than scheduled racing, including open paddock access, supporting activities, and family amenities.
What visitors will see
The weekend is expected to feature 11 racing classes, including a tribute to the 60th anniversary of the Trans-Am series. The Vintage Sports Car Drivers Association schedule includes Formula Ford, North South GT, Closed Wheel Enduro, and Cup Races among the planned competition.
The detailed VSCDA schedule is provisional, so visitors should review the latest schedule before making a specific plan for a race session.
Activities beyond the track
Road America’s event announcement highlights open paddock access, giving visitors an opportunity to see the cars and teams up close. Additional activities at the Motorplex are expected to include public karting, autocross, and Supermoto.
These options give families and mixed-interest groups more to do during the weekend, even for visitors who do not plan to watch every race.
Tickets, hours, and parking
The official Road America ticket page lists admission hours from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily and provides general parking information. Print-at-home tickets and gate-sale options remain available after advance sales ended.
Children 16 and under are listed as free with a paying adult. Visitors should check the official ticket page for current admission details before leaving because ticket availability and purchasing options can change.
Art on Wheels Vintage Weekend runs September 18–20 at Road America. The venue is at N7390 State Highway 67 in the Town of Plymouth, not the City of Plymouth.
