Sheboygan, WI — September 5, 2026.

Garbage and recycling collection in the City of Sheboygan will be delayed one day after the Labor Day holiday on Monday, September 7, 2026.

Monday routes move to Tuesday, September 8

The city’s 2026 Holiday Collection Schedule shows that Monday garbage and recycling routes will be collected Tuesday, September 8. Routes later in the week will also shift forward by one day.

Friday routes will be collected Saturday, September 12. The one-day adjustment applies to both garbage and recycling service in the City of Sheboygan.

Residents should use the City of Sheboygan’s address-based collection schedule to confirm the adjusted day for their property. The lookup tool is available through the city’s Garbage & Recycling service page.

This holiday schedule applies to the City of Sheboygan. Residents in other Sheboygan County communities should follow their own municipality’s collection information.
