What to expect
The library says Memory Café sessions are designed as supportive, social gatherings for people living with memory loss and their care partners. For this month’s program, the theme is “Memories of Nature and the Outdoors.” Mead also notes that attendees will create Nature Journals during the café.
Local partners
Mead Public Library says the Memory Café is hosted in collaboration with the Aging & Disability Resource Center (ADRC) of Sheboygan County and the Alzheimer’s Association Wisconsin Chapter.
Register before the deadline
To attend, families and caregivers must register in advance. Because registration is set to close at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 24, readers who plan to come are encouraged to sign up as soon as possible through Mead’s events listings.
