The National Weather Service updated the Sheboygan County zone forecast at 10:31 a.m. Thursday, and Friday night still looks like the main rain window. Friday is partly sunny with highs in the lower 60s, then Friday night turns cloudy with a 70% chance of showers after midnight.

Saturday stays mostly cloudy with a 50% chance of light rain showers in the morning and highs in the lower 60s. By Sunday, the county forecast shifts to partly sunny with only a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms, and Memorial Day is mostly sunny with highs in the mid 70s.

For weekend plans, the best bet is to keep Friday night and early Saturday flexible, then look to Memorial Day for the strongest outdoor weather of the holiday stretch.
