Sheboygan County, WI — May 10, 2026.
AAA’s latest May 10 price check shows the Sheboygan metro split again: regular gas eased to $4.388 a gallon, while diesel nudged up to $5.709. Compared with the last check on May 9, regular is down 1.2 cents and diesel is up 1 cent. AAA’s Wisconsin gas prices page
What changed at the pump
Regular gas is still below last week’s Sheboygan mark of $4.447, and it has also moved lower than the last check. But it remains well above the month-ago $3.804 level and the year-ago $2.924 mark, so the spring climb is still showing up for local drivers.
Diesel is still the bigger pressure point
Diesel moved the other way, rising from $5.699 yesterday to $5.709 today. It is also above last week’s $5.578 price, above the month-ago $4.948 level, and far above the year-ago $3.188 mark. For Sheboygan County businesses that run trucks, vans, equipment, or delivery routes, those extra cents add up quickly.
The Sheboygan metro diesel price is also a touch higher than the Wisconsin average of $5.661, while regular gas sits a little above the state average of $4.378. That keeps Sheboygan in the same expensive range as the rest of the state, even with today’s small dip for regular fuel.
What local drivers should watch
For commuters, school runs, contractors, delivery drivers, farmers, restaurants, weekend travelers, and service businesses, the practical takeaway is mixed. Regular-gas drivers get a little relief compared with the last check, but diesel-heavy operations are still facing the tighter squeeze.
If you are planning extra driving for errands, youth sports, lakefront trips, or weekend work, it may still be worth checking prices before you fill up. Small changes per gallon can add up fast over a week of local miles.
