53rd Annual Midsummer Festival of the Arts
The 53rd annual Midsummer Festival of the Arts is coming up on July 15-16 and it promises to be an unforgettable event. Taking place at the esteemed John Michael Kohler Arts Center, the festival will be a free and enriching cultural extravaganza, featuring over 100 artists’ booths. The grandeur of this festival is magnified by its sheer scale and diversity, making it a prominent event on the calendar for art lovers and culture enthusiasts.
This vibrant festival isn’t only about admiring and purchasing beautiful art, it’s also a musical treat for visitors. Live music performances will breathe life into the event, adding rhythm and energy to the stunning visual spectacle. The lively tunes harmonize perfectly with the aesthetic ambiance of the festival, creating an experience that’s as pleasing to the ears as it is to the eyes.
What’s more, festival-goers will also have the chance to satiate their appetites with a selection of delectable food from various food trucks at the venue. But the fun doesn’t stop there – art-making activities will engage attendees, transforming spectators into creators. This interactive component is part of what makes the Midsummer Festival such an extraordinary event. We extend a hearty thank you to our presenting sponsors, Lake 98.1 and Acuity, whose support has helped shape this remarkable event.
On the same dates, another captivating event will be taking place in the region – the 2023 Hmong Sheboygan Summer Festival at Kiwanis Park. Offering a different cultural experience, this festival will feature Hmong and K-Pop dancing, alongside sports activities such as basketball, flag football, cornhole toss, and soccer. The entrance fee is just $5 per person, with free entry for children aged 3 years and younger, as well as for seniors.
