Sailing Education Association of Sheboygan also known as (SEAS) is a valuable organization that is dedicated to promoting sailing and water sports in the Sheboygan community. It is great to see that SEAS is working closely with the other lakefront organizations, such as the Sheboygan Youth Sailing Center and Sail Sheboygan, to share resources and provide more opportunities for people to get on the water. It is also impressive to see that SEAS is collaborating with organizations such as the Sea Scouts and the Sheboygan Yacht Club to provide a variety of programs and events for people of all ages and experience levels. Overall, it seems that SEAS is an important part of the Sheboygan community and is working to make the waterfront one of the best attractions in the area.

Sheboygan Youth Sailing Center
The Sheboygan Youth Sailing Center (SYSC) is an organization that has been around for more than 25 years. Its mission is to introduce the Sheboygan community to the sport of sailing and help sailors of all ages and experience levels develop the skills to safely and effectively crew and skipper a sailboat. SYSC offers a range of classes, from beginner lessons to advanced race teams, and its adult sailing lessons have been its fastest growing segment in recent years. SYSC is open to the public and works with the Sailing Education Association of Sheboygan (SEAS) to offer more courses to serve adult students, including classes in keelboat sailing, cruising, navigation, and bare boat certification. SYSC strives to make sailing accessible and affordable to the community, with the goal of increasing the number of sailors on the water and expanding its reach into the community.
Sheboygan Yacht club
The Sheboygan Yacht Club is a private, member-owned club located on the shores of Lake Michigan in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. The club was founded in 1931 and boasts a rich history of sailing and boating on Lake Michigan. The club is open to members and their guests and offers a variety of amenities such as a clubhouse, restaurant, pool, and boat storage facilities. In addition to recreational sailing and boating, the club also hosts a number of racing events throughout the year and has a strong focus on junior sailing programs. Members of the Sheboygan Yacht Club are able to participate in a variety of club-sponsored activities and events, as well as access the club’s facilities and services.
Sea scouts
The Sea Scouts is a co-ed program of the Boy Scouts of America that focuses on boating and water activities. It is open to high school-age youth and aims to provide a safe environment for young people to learn about and experience boating and water sports. Sea Scouts may participate in activities such as sailing, racing, and kayaking, and may also have the opportunity to learn about boat maintenance and repair. The program is chartered by the Sheboygan Yacht Club and focuses on developing skills and a respect for safe boating practices on Lake Michigan and the Sheboygan River.
Sail Sheboygan
Sail Sheboygan is a US Sailing Center that was founded in 2004 to promote national and international sailing competition and education. They act as the hosting organization for sailboat races and have a reputation for holding World Class regattas. They have managed regattas from large one-design fleets like the Lightning North Americans, to World Championships in Women’s Match Racing and Blind Match Racing. Sail Sheboygan and the Sailing Education Association of Sheboygan (SEAS) have also collaborated with blind sailing events in 2017 and 2018 and the Para World Sailing Championships in the fall of 2018. Sail Sheboygan is known for providing professional quality race organization and management to fleet, team and match racing at all levels.
