This iconic event continues throughout the weekend, making Road America the place to be for all racing enthusiasts.
2. Boos & Brews – October 4th & 5th
Get into the spooky spirit at Bookworm Gardens on Friday, October 4th, from 6 to 9 PM for Boos & Brews! This adults-only event (21+) offers live music by Cold Soda Club on Friday and Tangled Lines on Saturday, along with hot cider, festive drinks, a bonfire with s’mores, and food trucks. The Gardens will be decked out in thousands of twinkling lights for a magical evening. Tickets are required, so grab yours before they sell out!
3. Elkhart Lake’s Farmers & Artisans Market – October 5th
Kick off your Saturday morning at the Elkhart Lake Farmers & Artisans Market from 8 AM to 12 PM. Located in the Village Square, this local market offers everything from fresh seasonal produce and flowers to cheeses, handmade arts, and specialty products. With about 50 vendors, all items are locally made by Wisconsin producers.
4. 5th Annual Scarecrow Festival – October 5th & 6th
Join Camp Y-Koda at Christopher Farm & Gardens on Saturday, October 5th, and Sunday, October 6th, from 9 AM to 4 PM for the 5th Annual Scarecrow Festival! This family-friendly event is packed with activities like arts & crafts, face painting, train rides, catch & release fishing, and a scarecrow contest. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children. On-site parking is available for $30, or you can opt for free off-site parking with a shuttle from Kohler Power Systems.
5. Oktoberfest & Esslingen Fest – October 5th
Celebrate German culture at 3 Sheeps Brewing Company during the Oktoberfest & Esslingen Fest on Saturday, October 5th, from 11 AM to 11 PM. Starting with Esslingen Fest, which honors Sheboygan’s sister city in Germany, the day will feature a brat fry, raffles, and live polka music. The festivities will continue with keg-tapping by Mayor Mike Vandersteen at noon, followed by a stein-holding contest and more live music from Hearthfire and The Buffalo Joe Band in the evening. Admission is free, and the event is open to all!
