Sheboygan Symphony Orchestra brings Beethoven to the Weill Center this month
The Sheboygan Symphony Orchestra is presenting a concert called “Beethoven Lives Upstairs” at the Stefanie H. Weill Center on Feb 18th at 3 PM. The performance is a theatrical symphony concert that introduces audiences to the life and music of Ludwig van Beethoven. The performance features letters between a young boy and his uncle, who are discussing the “madman” who has moved into the apartment upstairs. The performance includes over 25 of Beethoven’s most famous pieces and is woven into a drama acted out by two actors. The original recording of “Beethoven Lives Upstairs” has won multiple awards and has gone multi-platinum around the world.
