Dr. Sergio Gonzalez, author of the Wisconsin Historical Society book “Mexicans in Wisconsin,” will be giving a presentation on Mexican settlement history and culture in Wisconsin. The presentation will cover the history of Mexican settlement in Wisconsin, including the challenges and opportunities that Mexican immigrants faced. Dr. Gonzalez will also discuss the contributions that Mexican immigrants have made to Wisconsin’s cultural and economic landscape, and the ways in which Mexican culture has enriched the state. This is a unique opportunity to learn more about the history and culture of Mexican settlement in Wisconsin, and to gain a deeper understanding of the contributions that immigrants have made to the state.
