Limelight was recommended to me as a place I’d like to visit because I enjoy blues music and good food.
I enjoyed the blues music that they were playing, but on the day I visited, there was no blues band playing. I don’t know if they have blues bands regularly, but I will continue to watch events to see if an event is added for a blues band at Limelight Pub and Grill.
There was blues paying on the screens and piped over the sound system. I did not know who was playing what we were watching or hearing. The music was good and you know the crowd enjoys blues music. There is no jukebox so that you can select blues music to share.
I heard the food was great, but the menu was a basic pub menu. Everything is served on a Brioche Bun. It is my belief that burgers, steak sandwiches, brats and such should be served on a Sheboygan Hard Roll. This is Sheboygan, after all.
It’s a good bar to go to if you like your pub food on Brioche Buns and don’t mind others selecting the music.
It’s average to me though.
