Mike Shank Appointed to Road America’s Board of Directors
Road America has announced the appointment of Mike Shank, owner of Meyer Shank Racing, to its board of directors. Shank brings more than 20 years of experience in the motorsports industry, including leading his team to a Daytona Prototype international Championship in 2022, two Rolex 24 Hour victories in 2012 and 2022, and two IMSA GTD Championships in 2019 and 2020. “I’m honored to be selected to be on the Board of Directors for Road America,” Shank said. “I am looking forward to working with the rest of the team on initiatives for the future.” Shank has developed relationships with Acura and Honda throughout his career and now leads the MSR team with the hybrid Acura ARX-06 LMDh. Ron Pace, chairman of Road America’s board of directors, said the board is excited to have Shank join and “share his vast insight and motorsports expertise as we continue into the future.”
