A community comes together to help restore Sheboygan’s favorite children’s museum to reopen in February
Local Business and Organizations go Above and Beyond for their Community.
The Above and Beyond Children’s Museum in Sheboygan has received an outpouring of support from the community following a pipe burst in the museum on Christmas morning. Jackie Erdman, the Executive Director of the Museum, stated that the damage was extensive and affected the entire museum, including the sprinkler system. However, the community immediately rallied to help the museum, with local businesses and organizations offering up their space for storage, materials, supplies, and labor. Even residents from nearby towns, like Manitowoc, stepped up to assist. The museum is now getting additional support from 3 Sheeps Brewing, who will host an ABC Museum Taproom Takeover on January 29th and donate $1 for each pint of 3 Sheeps Pilsner sold throughout the month. The museum is expected to reopen in February.
